Kiyoshi Nagahisa

Experience Highlights: Mr. Kiyoshi Nagahisa was employed as a math teacher at a prep school, teaching predominantly 9th graders, upon graduation from a college in Japan. He decided to come to the U.S. to study as a result of the Plaza accord which made strengthened the Japanese Yen against U.S. Dollar. Mr. Nagahisa initially entered into an MBA program, but changed to an Accounting program with a vision of becoming an accounting specialist, earning an MS in Accounting.
Mr. Nagahisa was employed by Touche Ross & Co. (became Deloitte and Touche in 1989) as an auditor for six years. He worked extensively in the areas of manufacturing, transportation, construction, partnership and real estate investment.
Mr. Nagahisa desired to gain experience in the managing of businesses, and decided to work for private companies, starting as an assistant controller for Takashimaya New York Inc, overseeing the accounting department for more than two years. He briefly returned to Japan and became a controller of Campbell Japan, Inc, in Tokyo, but quickly returned to the U.S. to become a CFO of Mitsubishi Cable America, Inc.
Mr. Nagahisa obtained permanent residency in the U.S. and with more than fifteen years of public and private accounting experiences behind him, started his own accounting practice in 2003. He is one of the founding partners of Yamaguchi Lion LLP, organized in 2006.
